In April 2011, the CreateCtrl Corporation realized an individual Carte Bleue App for the "kitag Kino-Theater AG" (Switzerland) which serves to buy and reserve movie-tickets via mobile phone:
- Simple and comfortable purchase or reservation of tickets down to the seat via the new Carte Bleue App. The electronic tickets make it possible for the customer to access the movie theatre without need to queue.
- The client reserves the tickets via Carte Bleue App and also manages his own member account. He has the option to receive information on current movies, watch trailers and to retrieve information of the latest cinema Swisscon/kitag events.
- The tickets have been reserved but haven't been paid? Via a push-message the client is asked to either buy the reserved tickets or to cancel the reservation 30 minutes before the start of the show. Of course this action can also be carried out manually. The Carte Bleue can be loaded directly via credit card.
- As a new feature it is possible to receive ten tickets with special prices of CHF 13.– / 3D CHF 15. The client wants to go to the nearest movie theatre without knowing where it is located? - With the Carte Bleue App he will be informed about the shortest way based on his current location.
