Our editorial scheduling system for editorial offices
Following a call for tender the CreateCtrl corporation was instructed to develop an independent scheduling system for "Deutschlandradio". The aim of this project is to generate a modern, transparent and user-friendly editorial system on the basis of Microsoft Sharepoint technology, where all scheduling steps are represented - starting from scratch up to generating a minute-precise broadcast plan - including interfaces to other data systems.
SharePoint is a data base software which above other features contains calendar functions, folder and archive functions and which can be adapted flexibly to the requirements of the user.
The development phase started at the end of may 2011. The pilot phase for the figst editorial scheduling systems will start near the end of 2011.
